4. Application for the Admission to Membership

(a) Application for membership, in the prescribed form, duly filled in and signed by the applicant and proposed by one member of the ACPI, together with the prescribed admission fee shall be submitted to the Executive Director of the ACPI.

(b) The Board of Directors or the body authorized by a shall, after receiving the application, consider it and take a decision on it as expeditiously as possible, but not later than 120 days from the date of receipt of the application.

If the Board of Directors or its duly authorized body rejects any application for membership, such decision shall be final. On rejection, the money received from the applicant shall be refunded forthwith; and the applicant informed of the rejection accordingly.

(c) The applicant shall be deemed to be member of ACPI from the date on which he is admitted as a member and his dues become effective from that date.

(b) Annual Subscription
There shall be annual subscription as determined by the Board of Directors from time to time, and payable by Members and they shall become due on the first day of the calender year and shall be payable within three months of the commencement of the year and in case of new admission, within thirty

Provided however, that if a member is admitted after the first six months of the year the subscription payable shall be half of the annual subscription.

A Life Member shall not be required to pay any annual subscription, having paid the life membership subscription.
